Moses Brown is the founder, owner, and president of MMHB & Associates LLC, a minority-owned and operated mechanical construction and consulting firm based in Forest Park, Georgia. Brown manages MMHB operations, providing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, project management services and consulting services for commercial and industrial infrastructures.
Prior to MMHB, Brown held senior executive positions with Equifax, ChoicePoint, and LexisNexis/Reed Elsevier. Brown has accumulated over 40 years of technology management, operations, construction, and community outreach experience. Serving as Vice President of Corporate Administration with ChoicePoint, Brown was the executive in charge of the construction of the 200,000 sq ft high-tech Data Center in Alpharetta, Ga. Brown had responsibility for all phases of the project, which was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule.
MMHB & Associates is 100% minority-owned and certified as a DBE with GDOT, MBE with GMSDC, AABE, and SBE with the City of Atlanta. Brown is a graduate of the JE DUNN Minority Business Development Program, a graduate of the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance Construction Business Management Institute, a graduate of the ARC Regional Leadership Institute, and a graduate of the SBA Emerging Leaders Program.
A graduate of Morehouse College and Leadership Atlanta, Brown serves as a mentor with the Morehouse College Executive Mentoring Program. He is a member of 100 Black Men of America and serves on the boards of Excel Federal Credit Union and GivingPoint. Brown is formerly a board member of The Drake House, and the North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID), Zoo Atlanta Leadership Council, the Center for Puppetry Arts Advisory Board, and the Georgia Dome Executive Member Advisory Board.
Brown is a past recipient of the Keep Hope Alive Equal Opportunity Award, a two-time recipient of the Equifax W. Lee Burge Community Service Award, and the National Eagle Leadership Award, recognizing success in business and community leadership. Brown also served as Venue Technology Manager at the Georgia Dome during the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Brown resides in Alpharetta and is the proud father of daughter Maranie and son Harrison.
